Science can be fun. Science can be cool. And at Sci Chic, science can even be beautiful. From the Bohr atomic model to the intricacies of printed circuit boards we believe there is inherent beauty to be found in science. We also believe in showing this beauty to the world! With that in mind, we’re proud to announce that Sci Chic will be attending this year’s Otronicon at the Orlando Science Center in Orlando, FL. From January 16-18 you can find us on level 4 next to Dino Digs! Otronicon is an annual event at the Orlando Science Center that merges science, art, and technology to make for an exciting, and educational experience. You can find Otronicon’s official announcement of Sci Chic’s participation here.

Along with a fully functional 3D printer, at our table we’ll have a large assortment of our 3D printed jewelry available in many colors and materials, a selection of our forthcoming laser cut products, and a plethora of educational materials that explain the science behind each of our pieces. Whether you want to update your wardrobe to reflect your love of science, or would just like to learn a bit about these fields we find so beautiful, we’d love to have you stop by! You can learn more about Otronicon, and purchase tickets, here.

Otronicon isn’t the only event we have coming up, though. From 5:30 to 10pm on January 16 we’ll be exhibiting at Winter Sky Festival 2016. Hosted at the Buehler Planetarium at Seminole State College, Winter Sky Festival 2016 will feature an array of telescopes to mesmerize visitors with viewings of the moon, various galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae. And after you enjoy those amazing views, swing by our table and browse our collection of space inspired 3D printed jewelry! The night’s sky is a beautiful sight, and we’ll have a variety of ways to show your love for it!
